When I arrived, I had my own version of what my schedule for the week would be like:
Monday-
check in
get settled in my apartment
Tuesday-
go to casting, get my badge and find out my work location
Wednesday-
go to Traditions
Thursday-
Begin training for new job
Unfortunately, I quickly found out that this would not be the case. My first week ended up looking more like this...
Monday-
Check in= standing in line filling out tons of paperwork, getting my housing ID and finding out my work location
Going to apartment and getting settled in/grocery shopping (bring $200 for this)
Tuesday-
Go to casting, admit your not a criminal, then prove it with your fingerprints(only took an hour)
Sit around and do noting for the rest of the day
Wednesday-
sit around and do nothing
Thursday-
sit around and do nothing
Friday-
sit around and do nothing till 1:20pm
go to traditions class till 8pm (long class right?) get temp access to the parks and badge
Saturday-Tuesday
Sit around waiting for something to happen
tour my work location (Saturday morning)
hit the parks a bit
Wednesday-
Finally start first day of training
So if you didn't notice, there was a lot of time sitting around doing nothing. This is because we did not get access to the parks until our traditions class and i was the unlucky one who was put in the last group (Friday night). No access to the parks till after traditions.
So overall it was a good day, and relaxing week. Unfortunately it gave me a way to high level of laziness that totally came back to bite me in the butt.
Random fact #3 - Gaps equals naps. Love them while they last cause I already know i wont be getting many during this program. (Shout out to Ruth and Sarah)
