Vacation Planning - The best CP role you could possibly get!

This is no joke. I literally have the best job a CP could possibly get!

Single hand the best thing about it is that you will never get a shift that ends after 8:30 pm. And if you work at Animal Kingdom like I do, you will never end later than 4:30!!! It's so sick. I literally have the entire evening to do whatever I want. When its slow we talk and have a good time and we get rewarded for simply doing our job.

Also there is a lot more guest interaction than I thought would be part of this role. It's not the same as others because we are confined behind glass, but there are still some really great moments. Moments that we create for guests and also ones that guests create for us.

A few weeks ago I was helping a family with their military passes.
It takes a while to process these so the families have to be patient with us. As I was working on it, the little girl lifts up her autograph book and tells her mom that she wants me to sign it. So i signed her book and her brothers since he asked me too. It was a magical moment the kids created for me. I felt so special.

Today I was helping a family of 4 (Mom, Dad, 2 daughter and son) with their ticket package. They were asking a lot of questions so that told me that they were not familiar with the parks and thus probably new. Sure enough it was their first time. I was really excited for them and brought out the first time visit buttons (yes they are a thing). The little girl grabbed it and started screaming "YAY A FIRST TIME VISITOR BUTTON FOR ME!! IT'S MY FIRST TIME IN DISNEY WORLD!!!" Then she pointed at the button in her hand and said "and its free?" So I let her know it was free and she and her brother continued jumping with happiness. Totally made a magical moment. It was the absolute best reaction to buttons I have ever seen.

Aside from the guests, the people I get to work with are the absolute best! It's like a tiny little family. Everybody has jokes and stories for everybody and all the ladies are like the CP's mom's. They take good care of us.

I mean honestly, having a job that allows you to sit all day in an air-conditioned booth in the Florida heat, is a role that's tough to beat at Disney World.
