Please Do's and Seriously Dont's part 2

I just found that I never posted part two so here it is.

After working for a few weeks and living in the housing, I have complied quite the list of things that i think more people should do and should not do. This is mostly a list for people who actually work for Disney. I'll do a more general list later

Housing's Please Do
1) Cook your roommates dinner one night - It brings you all together and gives you something to talk about

2) Bring a TV- Sometimes you just gotta get a group together and watch your favorite shows (Once Upon a Time or Pretty Little Liars)

3) Carry your housing ID and house key with you everywhere- PLEASE DO THIS!! Get a card holder and permanently attach it to your body. You need both of these all the time. And its unfortunate to get locked out when all your roommates are at work

4) Clean the kitchen up even if its not your mess- You still have inspections. Keep it clean it makes life easier for everyone

5) Go to as many housing events you can- free food hello!! need i say more

Housing Seriously Don't
1) Attempt to wash your dishes and then put them away when they are actually not clean- It's annoying and unnecessary

2) Put dirty dishes in a dishwasher filled with clean dishes- also annoying and hard to tell whats clean and whats not

3) Fail inspections- why??? Because they charge you actual money that's why. And yes its like a week long span that they could randomly walk into your house and fail you so just keep it clean all the time and you don't have to worry (I struggled with the keep it clean part myself)

4) Call security on your neighbors before actually trying to solve the problem yourself - If you have an issue try to handle it like a big kid first. If that does not work or the situation is already way above you (like a drug problem), then call security.

Parks Please Do
1) Realize that until there is a huge announcement, fast pass and my magic plus is still in testing...

2) Go on a weekday- its way less crowded

3) Or just go right before or after you go to work - Your already there so why not?

4) Try something new - If you come all the time, try eating somewhere you never have before or riding the kids rides that aren't normally thrilling enough for you. Trust me, it can be fun

5) Pick up shifts somewhere you don't normally work - It's fun! More people to meet and be friends with and something maybe a bit outside of what you normally do keeps the fun in the program

Parks Seriously Don't
1) Ruin the Pixi Dust for the guests - as DCPers we think we know everything and find great joy in quoting random facts all the time as we cruise the parks. Just remember that some of your facts (ie Tinkerbell in a show facts) do not need to be spoken of in front of guests. Don't ruin their magic

2) Give your main gates to people you barely know - people actually do this and people have actually gotten in huge trouble for it because their guests caused a problem in the park

3) Take a bus to Epcot or MK and expect to stay till closing
Look especially Epcot is a beazy to get out of right after illuminations. If you have a friend with a car, take the car there and park yourself cause trying to catch the CP bus will take you forever!!! But if you have to stay, take a hotel bus to a hotel (preferably one that's not part of that parks pickup circuit) and catch the CP bus there. Just remember timing is everything.
